The Community Council is excited to announce that on Monday the 4th of September, we will be hosting an evening with world renowned Clinical Psychologist, Andrew Fuller.
As a clinical psychologist, Andrew Fuller works with many schools and communities in Australia and internationally, specialising in the wellbeing of young people and their families.
All our Parents & Careers are invited to hear Andrew talk about ‘Identifying & Building Your Child’s Learning Strengths’. This session will cover a wide range of topics including:
- Increasing motivation, confidence and pleasure in learning.
- Improving thinking and learning
- Increasing planning and sequencing
- Using perceptual and motor skills to enhance concentration & memory.
- Helping children develop confidence and the mindset for success.
Starting at 6pm in the Library, the Community Council & STA Teaching Staff invite you to come and hear Andrew talk, with a light supper provided at the conclusion of the presentation.
Each Parent/ Carer who attends will also being given one of Andrew’s books, as a gift from the Community Council and a grant from the Catholic Education Parent Engagement Program.
